Fine Art Paper & Print Guide

To ensure your print retains its vibrancy, depth, and character for a lifetime, I exclusively use premium, archival-grade papers from the Hahnemühle FineArt collection. Each paper has been chosen specifically for its ability to render the unique light and texture of the locations I photograph.

Our Paper Selection

Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Matt Baryta (308gsm) The Artistic & Gallery Choice This 100% cotton paper is a favourite for those who appreciate a classic, painterly finish. Because it is a matte-finish Baryta, it offers the best of both worlds: the deep, velvety blacks and high-contrast depth of traditional darkroom prints, but with a refined, glare-free surface. It is ideal for images where you want the light to settle into the fibers, emphasizing textures like ancient stone, forest foliage, and soft, natural landscapes.

Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Baryta (315gsm) The Vivid & High-Detail Choice This paper is the quintessential choice for high-impact imagery. The glossy, baryta-coated finish adds a subtle, professional-grade sheen that provides incredible definition and “pop.” It is perfectly optimized to make vibrant colours appear vivid and crisp, while ensuring that the fine details—from the intricate architecture of a city to the shimmering reflection of water—are captured with sharp, archival precision.

Available Sizes

I offer my prints in two standard, gallery-ready sizes, both designed to fit easily into high-quality professional frames:

  • A4 (210 x 297 mm): The perfect size for intimate spaces, desks, or creating a curated gallery wall with multiple smaller prints.
  • A3+ (329 x 483 mm): A substantial, “Super B” size that provides a dramatic presence. A3+ is the professional’s choice, offering a larger canvas that allows your images to breathe and truly command a room.
